Welcome to Greywood Primary Academy
Our new school has been built as part of the Free School Presumption scheme. This is where the Local Authority (in this case Staffordshire County Council) identifies a need for new school places and then works with the DfE to build a school and choose a suitable Trust to run it.
The school was therefore built to meet demand for places from the St John's Grange and Cricket Lane housing developments in South Lichfield. Since being chosen to run the school, Primitas has continued to work closely with the County Council and the Department for Education to prepare for the arrival of the first pupils in September 2026.
Greywood Primary Academy is proud to be a part of the Primitias Learning Partnership, collaborating with schools across Lichfield and Burntwood. The Trust's No.1 strategic priority is to provide the highest quality, most inclusive education possible.
